The Elimination List
In this newsletter, I wanted to do something a little different. I love to give out great free tools and the elimination list is a great way of cleansing your mind by writing and affirming what you want eliminated from your life. For weeks now, the new hot buzz about manifestation is "The Secret". I got the DVD back in December 2006 and I loved it. Now you may be pondering why my topic, "the elimination list" fits into the subject of manifestation. Let me explain.

WHY do some people need to make an elimination list?
Many people around the world desire or want something in their lives. You could want something very small like a parking space or something large like winning the lottery. Here are some examples:
- a healthier body
- a lover or relationship
- improved health
- pass an exam
- better job or promotion
- money to travel

Now, let's say that some nagging problem or repeating situation keeps appearing in your life around the subject of your desire. This can cause a great deal of frustration and unhappiness. I would like to give you some examples of "what" could be holding you apart from your desires.
- It could be your past emotions, beliefs or memories holding you apart.
- Some people feel unworthy or not good enough.
- Some people have shadows from the past that cloud their future happiness.
- Some people want something, but they consciously or unconsciously don't believe they can have it.


All of these examples are preventing the joy, which eagerly awaits you. Let's explore a little deeper. If you keep attracting the same situation, people or vibration, you need to change your point of attraction. Here are some examples:
- Attracting people in relationships who reject you, verbally abuse you, betray you
- Attracting needy people, controlling people, overly dramatic people
- Attracting dead end job, abusive employers, contracts keep getting broken
- Attracting health issues several times a month or year
- Attracting speeding tickets or trouble with the law

For some people it could be a belief that holds you back. Some of our beliefs have been passed down from generation to generation. Some we have learned from our own life experiences. Here are some examples:
- This always happens to me.
- I always meet men/women who leave me.
- I can't trust people.
- I am happier when I am drunk.
- I need alcohol to relax.
- I have bad luck with relationships.
- I can only find _______ jobs.
- I'm not educated enough.
- I never get a break.
- Younger people always get promotions before me.
- Eating cookies makes me feel better.
- I always get the flu in the winter.

HOW will making an elimination list help me?
The function of the elimination list is twofold: TO ELIMINATE ERROR AND TO EXPAND YOUR GOOD! You must first eliminate your emotional baggage before you can allow the good stuff in. Elimination not only takes something from you, it gives something to you! Try this quick exercise and you will soon grasp the idea of "elimination".

Step One: Choose a topic. It could around the subject of:
- Health
- Your relationship with your body
- Your relationship with family, friends, employer, or your doctor
- Love Relationships (past or present)
- Money
- Employment or Career
- Personal Change (anger, depression, drama)
- Attracting Less of something
Step Two: Think of all the negative memories associated with that one topic.
Step Three: Think of the emotions or negative beliefs associated with that one topic.
Step Four: Now close your eyes and imagine a box full of all that stuff associated with your one topic. You could imagine papers, pictures, presents, candy, medicine bottles, cigarettes, all your ex-lover, etc.
Step Five: Now ask yourself these questions as you view this box in your mind, "Can any positive energy find room within my box? Is my box very large or small? Is my box over flowing with negativity? Is my box old, faded or torn?"

For many people, this exercise can be an eye opener. We never intend for our lives to get so clutter. That is why when you are trying to achieve a result and it has not ome, it is often because there is still something in mind, body, affairs, or relationships that you need to renounce, free, release, or eliminate. As long as you put off this elimination process, you put off results!

HOW to use the elimination list and the FREE MP3
Now for some people, they do not have much to eliminate in life and others may have a laundry list. If you are struggling with a serious issue, I recommend you first spend 5 to ten minutes writing down what you want to eliminate. For others, it could be the simple statement of releasing general dissatisfaction in your life because you may not know what needs to be released.If you need to write it out, follow these helpful steps:

Step One: Select ONE topic.
Step Two: Write down some negative feelings or emotions associated with your topic. Here are some examples of emotions:
- rejected, disappointed, frustrated, depressed, angry, unworthy, fearful, worry, trapped
Step Three: Write down any negative beliefs or thoughts associated with your topic. Here are some examples:
- It could be something a parent said to you as a small child.
- It could be something you saw that was traumatic.
- It could be how your family or doctor views your situation or life.
- It could be a thought you keep thinking over and over again.
- It could be a belief that came from a past experience or a few similar past experiences.
- It could be a belief that you see your friend(s) keep experiencing and now it clouds you too.
- It could be how you view your life in general or the future of the world.
Step Four: (Optional) Write out what you want to eliminate. You can read them out loud if you like. Try to feel something shifting within you when you declare what you want to eliminate or release. Your sentence could be:
- I am eliminating the need for drama or overly dramatic friends from my life.
- I am eliminating unhealthy relationships with men/women from my life.
- I am eliminating lackful thinking around the subject of money from my life.
- I am eliminating any fears around my current health condition(s).
- I am eliminating my anger towards __________ in my life.
- I am releasing my need to control this situation with _______ in my life.
- I am releasing anything and everything that is no longer part of the divine plan for my life.
Step Five:Listen to the MP3 process on Elimination. I would recommend doing this process at least 3 or 5 times on the same topic or until you start to see, feel and experience a sense of relief. RELIEF is the keyword. When you feel relief, you will know that you have made progress. Just remember to be patient with yourself. Your box did not grow over night by itself.


Remember, you are worth the gift of change. Enjoy!
