How to Set Your Hoiliday Intentions
Dear Readers,
I recently taught a class last week on Segment Intending and feel that
some of the material would be beneficial to everyone. You maybe asking
yourself, "What is Segment Intending?" Segment Intending is
the process whereby YOU define the vibrational characteristics of the
time segment you are moving into. It's a way of "pre-paving your
vibrational path", for an easier and more enjoyable journey or interaction
with people.
Segment Intending will help you be more deliberate about
focusing your thoughts. It will help you become more aware of where your
thoughts currently are, and it will help you be able to more deliberately
choose the thoughts that you offer, instead of living your life by default.
Therefore in time, it will feel very natural to you to stop for a moment
upon entering a new segment and direct your own intent or expectations.

How Does Segment Intending Work?
As you go throughout your day, you will experience a series
of new segments. Here are some examples: You get into your car, that's
a start of a new segment. You pick up the phone, that's a start of another
new segment. You prepare yourself for sleep, again...a new segment.
Therefore, you enter a new segment anytime your intention
changes. So if you take the time to get your thought of expectation started
even before you are inside your new segment, you will be able to set the
tone of the segment more specifically than if you walk into the segment
and begin to observe it as it really is. I will explain more as you read
on.
Why Your Emotions Matter When
It Comes to Segment Intending?
We have all heard the say, "Like Attracts Like."
If you're in a bad mood, you will have considerable resistance in your
vibrational frequency and therefore not be able to attract that which
you desire. What you will be doing is "projecting" the same
bad vibrational expectations into the segment that you are moving into.
If you want a more positive experience, you will have to focus on moving
up the vibrational scale and improve your current mood and point of attraction.
And then once you are feeling better, you now have the power within you
to make a "shift" and be able to "project" that which
you desire into the segment that you are moving into.
From Confusion to Clarity
If you want many things all at the same time, it adds confusion.
But when you only focus upon the specifics of what you want in any particular
moment, you bring clarity and power to your creation - and therefore,
speed. And that is the point of Segment Intending: to stop, as you are
entering a new segment, and to identify what is most wanted as that you
may give your attention to (and therefore, draw, power unto), that.
So here are three great examples of setting your intentions.
1. At the beginning of your day, set this intention: "Universe,
bring me things today that please me. Show me how blessed I am. Show me
how in sink with well-being I am. Show me how the seas will part for me.
Help my mind work in such a way that the right ideas come to me, at the
right time. Help me to say the right things to people as I move through
my day. Help me to rendezvous with smile after smile. With well-being,
after well-being. Help me to be in vibrational alignment with a route
that will not only get me to be where I want to be effectively, but will
thrill me as I go. Universe, line me up with the good stuff of my day.
And the Universe says, "Your wish is our command!"
2. Let your intention be when you're about to consume
a meal: " I will select and prepare this wonderful, nutritious food
efficiently. I will relax and eat it in joy, allowing my wonderful body
to digest and process it perfectly. I will choose the food that is best
for my physical body at this point in time. I will be replenished and
refreshed by this food." - Remember the food is only fattening for
your body if you "think or intend" for that food to give you
those desired result. So remember that the pie and gravy will support
your body. Your body will digest that food perfectly and take whatever
nutrients it needs from that food. Love your food and the food will love
you back. Enjoy eating this Thanksgiving!
3. Let your intention be when you're about to drive your
car: " It is my intention to be traveling in my car from one place
to another in safety, to feel invigorated and happy as I am moving forth,
and to be aware of what the other drivers are intending or not intending
so that I may move through traffic in a state of flow-safe and efficient."
